Position Description:

The incumbent would be responsible for leading the Organization’s IT strategy, key IT related strategic initiatives while managing infrastructure, systems, and operations. Also, responsible to ensures the effective use of technology to achieve business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and drive digital transformation. The incumbent will additionally oversee IT governance, project delivery, data security, systems integration and team leadership.

  • Responsible for designing and implementing IT strategies and infrastructure which shall aim to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the business growth of the organization

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and IT modernization.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to support business growth.

  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability.

  • Responsible for overseeing overall IT operations

  • Implement and monitor IT security protocols to protect company data and systems

  • Lead, inspire and develop the IT team from hiring to personnel development.

  • Identifies and eliminates IT security risks as and when appears

  • Responsible for planning and execution of preventive maintenance of IT resources on periodic basis.

  • Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements pertaining to the related area of supervision

  • Design and implement Disaster Recovery Plan to cater to unforeseen circumstances

  • Ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of all IT related services and exhibit effective problem solving skills in case of crisis

  • Foster and drive innovation throughout the business

Required Competencies to successfully perform:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, databases and storage systems

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects

  • Sound working knowledge of different coding languages and security protocols

  • Strongly possess team oriented approach

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the IT trends and applications being used within the AMC industry.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree with emphasis on Computer Science.

  • Desirable Masters Degree and relevant IT and Management Certifications.

  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in the field of IT, financial industry’s experience will be preferred.

Position Description:

Overall responsibility of IT infrastructure management and system administration. Maintain computing and branches system environment by identifying system requirements, designing, installing, and upgrading, monitoring system performance. Ensuring system availability, reliability, and implementing security and disaster recovery strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
  •  Manage IT security, including firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
  •         Administer Active Directory, NAS/SAN storage, and password management solutions.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) for scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity using Veeam Replication Tool.
  • Manage LAN, WAN, VLANs, wireless networks, PABX, and IP phone systems.
  • Supervise the server room environment, ensuring security, power, and cooling management.
  • Automate data transfers and backups using tools like Robocopy.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, upgrades, and IT support.
  • Responsible for devising & implementing backup & disaster recovery plans / processes.

Required Competencies to successfully perform:

  • Strong technical expertise in system administration, network management, and security protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  •         Knowledge of IT automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  •         Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCP, Fortinet NSE, CCNA, or CISSP
  •         Experience with cloud solutions (Office 365).

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, security, and system administration.
